Computer Training

Jody Reid in now teaching Computer courses on the first and third Tuesday of every month.  The first Tuesday will be a beginners course to help our Members learn how to use a computer, the Internet, Email and more.  The third Tuesday will be an advanced class.  Both classes will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 

CPR Class

Sheila Glynn is organizing a CPR class for Saturday, April 17th at 11 a.m. at the Club.  Members interested are asked to please sign up at the Club.

Donkeyman Returns

Kevin O'Hara, author of the "Last of the Donkey Pilgrims", has written a second book entitled "A Lucky Irish Lad."  Kevin will be visiting the Club on Sunday, March 14th between 1 and 2 p.m. to give a presentation of his new book and have copies available for signing and purchase.

Function Room Available

Book your parties now!!  Birthdays, graduations, retirement parties etc. Catering available!  Call the Club for available dates and to sign a Rental Agreement.  Beginning in 2010 there will be a $50 fee for renting the room along with a $50 security deposit due upon signing the agreement.  The security deposit will be returned if the room has been left in the same condition it was found.

Golf Tournament

The next tournament is scheduled for Sunday, April 11th at Bass River so mark your calendars.  Sign in will be at 7:30 a.m. and shot gun start at 8:30 a.m.  Buffet and awards afterwards at SOECC.  $100 per person includes golf, cart, meal and prizes. 124 players will be accepted into the scramble format.  Not interested in golfing but joining in on the fun and a meal?  $20 will get you in!!  Applications are available at the Club or by sending an email to contact@sonsoferincc.com and payments can be made via credit card on our website under the Payments & Donations page.

Kitchen Schedule

With Winter upon us the kitchen will only be serving dinners from Thursday thru Saturday beginning at 5:30 p.m. and typically ending at 8 p.m. when the music starts.

Membership Meeting

Our next Membership Meeting will be on Sunday, March 14th at 10:30 a.m. An Irish breakfast will be served from 9 am until Noon.

Nominating Committee

Officer Elections will be held in June and Sheila Glynn is the Chairperson for the Nominating Committee.  Eligibility is based on attendance in 5 Membership Meetings.  Duties are described in the ByLaws located on the website.  Anyone interested in joining the Nominating Committee please contact the Club.  A sign up sheet will be posted.

Sagamore Bridge Work

Just a heads up to our "mainland" Members that road work on the Sagamore Bridge will be starting "on or about March 1st" according to the signs posted on the Mid-Cape Highway.  Traffic was a nightmare when they started the project last November so the Bourne Bridge may be an easier option.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

This year's Paddy's Parade is on Saturday, March 6th beginning at 11 a.m.  An Irish Breakfast will be served at the Club from 8-10 a.m. We have hired a bus to transport those wishing to march in the parade, which will leave at 9:45 a.m.  More info on the Parade can be found on the Parade website, which can be found under our "Links" page. 

Winter Hours

The Club will open at 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Noon on Saturday and Sunday. Closing time will be at the Bartender’s discretion, no earlier than 9 p.m. and no later than 1 a.m.
